Information We Collect

Our apps currently do not require user accounts. We do not intentionally collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, phone number, physical address, contacts, photos, or precise location through the apps.

If you contact us by email, we receive the email address and message content you choose to send. We use that information only to review and respond to your request.

Information Processed Automatically Through Firebase

Our apps use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase Remote Config. Firebase may process technical, diagnostic, crash, device, app usage, analytics, and configuration data. This can include information such as app version, device model, operating system version, crash logs, performance and stability signals, session or installation identifiers, general region, language, and app interaction events.

Some technical or diagnostic data may be considered personal data under certain privacy laws, even if we do not directly identify you. Optional Chaining does not use Firebase data to personally identify users.

How We Use Information

We use information processed through Firebase only for app analytics, crash diagnostics, stability, performance, and feature/configuration management. This helps us understand whether the apps work correctly, diagnose crashes, improve reliability, and manage app behavior or configuration.

We do not use this information to sell advertising profiles, and we do not use it to track users across unrelated apps or services.

Third-Party Services

Firebase is provided by Google. Google/Firebase may process data according to Google's and Firebase's own terms, privacy, and data processing documentation. App Store / Apple Platform Information

If you download or use our apps through the Apple App Store, Apple may process information related to your Apple ID, device, purchase history, downloads, subscriptions, refunds, billing, and App Store activity according to Apple's own terms and privacy practices. Those Apple platform activities are handled by Apple, not by Optional Chaining.

No Sale of Personal Information

Optional Chaining does not sell personal information.

Data Retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, such as diagnostics, analytics, security, support, and legal compliance. Firebase retention may also depend on Google/Firebase settings and service practices.

Children's Privacy

Our apps do not require accounts and are not designed to intentionally collect information that directly identifies children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will review the request.

International Data Processing

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Firebase may process and store data in locations where Google or its service providers maintain facilities.

User Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or information about how your personal data is processed. Because our apps do not require accounts and we do not use Firebase data to directly identify users, we may need reasonable information to verify and handle a request.
